Artist Statement: Initially, I studied the figure and the classics; the Greeks, the Romans and the Renaissance. I continue to do representational work focusing on the figure. Earlier in my career, I worked for the movie studios sculpting for sets as well as other commercial work. For the past twenty years I have been inspired by the fashion world. To me, it is the best contemporary sculpture being made. I hope to continue working until the end.
