Background

Tom Silveroli was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. In the 1970’s Tom began studying sculpture at the Venice Sculpture Studio and apprenticed with a commercial sculptor learning mold-making, architectural sculpture and traditional plaster work. While in California, Tom worked in special effects sculpture studios on projects including the films, Heaven’s Gate, Blade Runner, Brainstorm, The Man who Loved Women, Ghostbusters 2010, and Cocoon

After graduation from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in 1988, Tom worked as a free lance sculptor for companies in Pennsylvania and Maryland designing and sculpting sports figures, dolls and other specialty items. In 1990, Tom moved to Maryland. He is an elected member of the National Sculpture Society.
